Named "Best Red Light Therapy Panel" by Glamour.com

The Lux Collection LED Treatment Panel does it all. In just 3 minutes per day, you can banish breakouts, smooth wrinkles, reduce inflammation, and increase collagen production with the touch of a button. Its large surface area makes it effective for use on the face, neck, chest, hands, legs, back, and any part of your body.

LED light therapy has been proven to help skin rejuvenation on the cellular level; the red light stimulates collagen production, revealing smooth skin, minimizing pores, and treating hyperpigmentation. The blue light helps treat acne by destroying the bacteria that cause clogged pores and inflammation.

Winner of “Best At-Home Red Light Therapy Device” in the 2022 New You Beauty Awards: Greatest Gadgets.

Because of the actual way that you need to use this device, it does not appear to be set up to actually provide benefits.

On the questions and answers page on this product website there are a few questions that people have asked regarding wearing goggles and how when you wear the goggles it doesn’t let your face get close enough to the LED light, but goggles are highly recommended. There are many spots on my face that are more than 1/4 inch from the light treatment. Which, 1/4 inches what’s recommended by LED technologies. When I inquired about this via email here is the response I got:

“The best way to use the panel on the face is by laying down and having the device "resting" on the face.
For our products, direct contact with the skin is recommended. Even though the panel may not touch the entire face, the LEDs will be close enough.”
And this is supposed to be done with the goggles on. With the goggles on using this method, the goggles get pushed into my eyes (which is extremely uncomfortable) and my forehead and sides of face are 3 or more inches from the light.

I’m confused because I was told that the LEDs need to be touching or as far as 1/4th inch from my skin to be effective. Then the Blue team is saying I’ll get benefits if it’s further, so which is it?
There seems to be no way to use this panel as recommended, and get the expected benefits from the LED, as advertised.
I’ve been using it the recommended way for over a month and I don’t notice any benefits or changes to my acne or skin health.

I added some pics to show how it’s recommended to do the treatment (according to LED Technologies), and how far it is from half of my face when I do as recommended.

The results are amazing! In a month I have seen my skin become brighter, more luminous, my skin tone has evened out and my pores are diminished. I can't say it has treated my existing breakouts, but it has kept pimples from developing and has minimized the small bumps and texture on my skin. The reason I give it 4 stars is that it's heavy and bulky and not easy for travel. I wish it was a mask and cordless that I could wear around the house, but given that it's only a 3 minute treatment it's fine that you have to stay put connected to a power source. The fact that treatment times are only 3 minutes is a huge plus! It is a bit heavy and large for travel as it takes up a lot of space in your bag. But I literally can't go a day without it now that I've started using it!

I can’t believe how amazing this product is. I have only had it for two weeks and my skin has already changed significantly!

I started breaking out two years ago and tried so many creams and masks. Then I found DPL LLA. I literally saw a difference after the first use, and it’s also helped with my dry skin.

Hi Angela, we're so glad to hear about your positive experience with the DPL IIa! Thank you for sharing your journey to healthier skin. We're happy it's made a difference for you!

I love using this sitting down watching tv. I prop it up on my shoulder. And then I use it under my knee and on top of the knee.

I have been using my dpl IIa for a couple of years, and I love it!

Notice that every time the company responds (to every review) it gives itself a 5-star review. Highly misleading. I would guess the actual stars are somewhere between 2.5-3 after viewing 15 pages of reviews.
That should tell you something.
I got mine at Costco and it’s going back.

I'm 36, and I've struggled with acne and inflammation since I was 10 years old. I've been using this panel for around 2 weeks, and it's the first treatment that has truly given me any hope. This replaces so many products, such as acne patches that draw fluid out of blemishes. This panel stops blemishes in their tracks so the fluid never even surfaces. It works like magic. I just wish I knew this option existed sooner!

My first light therapy device & I am pleased with this model. The triangular head is perfect for targeted treatment and I like the reliable corded design and auto shut off feature. Penetration is good and I can feel the area warming up (never burning). The switch is a bit finicky or sensitive, must be careful not to inadvertently switch it off during use. So far a great device. Time will tell if this is an effective therapy for my condition.

Costco sells this for 290, plus tax and shipping. You need a membership. Unit seems well made, results to be determined. It has
all the spectrum you want. Blue, red, near infrared and amber (dark spots), and ability to remove blue if you dont have acne. I looked at
dozens of devices up to 2,000 dollars and liked this one the best.
Rechargeable masks mean trouble, and a mask for every face is absurd as well. This device is a bargain as long as the power is good , it looks like it is.

I love my LED light panel! It is great that it can be used anywhere on the face and body and that it beeps to let me know when the allotted time ends.
I noticed immediate results of softening and fading of wrinkles and fine lines upon my first use. My face also felt plumper and more taut in a good way. I look forward to continuing use and seeing more improvements.
As an unexpected side effect, my mood is so much better - happier and calmer - and I am sleeping so much better. I had no idea this could cause such added benefits!
I highly recommend it! It is living up to the hype and is sturdy and excellent quality.

I’ve had my treatment panel for over a year. It is incredible. That being said, about one month ago I noticed the power cord would no longer power on the mask. It still beeps, but doesn’t light up.

I have reached out to LED technologies customer service 6 times via phone over the past months, and once via email at [****]. I have not heard back via phone or email.

I am so frustrated, as I love this product. I’ve taken my power cord to my local electronics shop as well as Best Buy and Walmart trying to purchase a new one with no luck. I’ve also ordered a universal one on Amazon, but it’s too thick to fit the mask.

I’m really just looking for a response on what to do in order to purchase a new power cord.

Hi. This review is more of a question than review. I purchased the former model of the 2 full panels style about 15 years ago. I noticed that you have a new model of this and it's used 3 minutes up to 3 times a day instead of 17 minutes per day total, whether broken up or at one time. Also, you are now selling this treatment device with goggles. My original literature stated that none were necessary. Please fill me in on how I should use my current device. What instructions should be following?

I have owned this device for 2 years now and used it on my face and chest. It has help with wrinkles but mostly my skin is a more even tone. The redness in my face is lessened when I use it. I have even used it to promote healing when I had knee surgery. I love my light.

Extremely Disappointed with Product Quality.
I purchased the Revive Light Therapy Panel DPL IIa and used it diligently for about 20 days (three treatments per day). To my surprise and disappointment, the device suddenly stopped functioning. For a product of this price and reputation, I expected much better durability and reliability.
I returned the device to the company, and they confirmed it had a factory defect. While they reimbursed me for the cost of the device, they refused to cover the $30 shipping fee I paid to return it. This feels unfair, as the malfunction was due to their faulty product, not any error on my part.
I’m very disappointed, not only with the product but also with the customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this device to others.

Works great while it works - unfortunately stops working after less than a year of use.
